Aid and CPR Courses Lifesaving
Standard First Aid and CPR C
Emergency situation
first aid training, as well as primary and secondary situation surveys are
learned. This course includes a CPR 'C' certification. Our first aid
courses are accredited by the Lifesaving Society.

YMCA Individual
Conditioning Level I
For all volunteer
orientation leaders to learn the basics to assist members in the conditioning
room and become comfortable in the YMCA. This course does not certify you
to set up individual programs, but provides a general knowledge of the workout
room. Successful completion of four hour class time and four hour apprenticeship
is required.

YMCA Basic Theory
This theory based course is the first
step towards becoming a fitness leader. It includes YMCA mission and values,
anatomy, physiology, healthy lifestyles, biomechanics, conditioning principals, exercise
design and nutrition.
